Amanda Raquel Worr

Growing up Amanda had always dreamt of being an artist.  The second she was old enough she packed her bags and headed off for the big city of Toronto.  In 2003 after four years of studying, creating and making wonderful things she graduated with her Fine arts diploma from The Ontario College of Art and Design.

She worked for many years managing in the coffee business all the while creating art.  It was not until 2007 when she decided she wanted to make art her career and pursue Illustration.  She studied Digital Publishing and Children’s Book Illustration at George Brown College, but ultimately found that what she needed to learn could not be taught in a classroom.  She used the resources found on the internet and some very well written books to chart out her own path to become a self-employed illustrator.
